The Main Stage was alive with rhythm and an Eastern European vibe to Hillside Festival. The Turbans are an independent group with worldly roots, invoking Turkey, Bulgaria, Israel, Iran, Italy, Greece and England to their sound. Combining traditional music with a modern twist their claim is that they are bringing music to the people from ‘Manywhere’. Their tones and textures will have you jumping and dancing along no matter where your music roots lie.
